Queensland Manufacturing Advisory Council

We have established the Queensland Manufacturing Advisory Council (QMAC) to support the growth and competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Queensland.

The council provides the government with expert advice, in particular focusing on advancing initiatives that help manufacturers to adopt new technologies and automation, improve efficiency and position the industry for long-term success.

QMAC is chaired by the Honourable Dale Last MP, Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.

The council is representative of a diverse range of key manufacturing sectors and plays a dynamic role in shaping the future of manufacturing in Queensland.
