Review of CSG-induced subsidence management framework
In June this year, the proposed coal seam gas (CSG)-induced subsidence management framework was withdrawn from the Mineral and Energy Resources and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2024 to allow for further public consultation.
The subsidence framework aims to effectively manage the impacts of CSG-induced subsidence on agricultural land and promote coexistence between the resources and agricultural sectors.
We are now seeking further feedback on the framework and encourage you to have your say [LINK to EHQ].
Consultation closes on 23 September 2024
